Trong các bài tập chú ý chọn lọc, hiệu quả của việc xử lý các tín hiệu mục tiêu và tín hiệu gây rối được trình bày đồng thời trong một giao diện nhất định thường bị ảnh hưởng bởi mối quan hệ giữa các tín hiệu này với các tín hiệu trong giao diện trước đó.
