Trong bài báo này, trách nhiệm đạo đức của một Tổ chức Chăm sóc Sức khỏe (HCO) được xem như một khía cạnh không thể tách rời khỏi danh tính của HCO. Chúng tôi cố gắng chỉ ra rằng, bằng cách khám phá mối quan hệ này, ta có thể thu được cái nhìn sâu sắc hơn về trách nhiệm đạo đức. Tham chiếu đến Charles Taylor, chúng tôi khám phá ý nghĩa của khái niệm danh tính. Nó bao gồm ba chiều không thể tách rời: một chiều đạo đức, một chiều đối thoại và một chiều tường thuật. Ở phần hai, chúng tôi phát triển một số lập luận bổ sung để áp dụng khái niệm danh tính cá nhân của ông vào các tổ chức.
