Hóa học nước và chất lượng nước của nước ngầm nông ở khu vực Tikrit, tỉnh Salah Al Din, Iraq

Tóm tắtTỉnh Salah Al-Din là một khu vực nông nghiệp và dân cư sôi động. Một trong các nguồn nước chính của tỉnh là nước ngầm, nơi mà thông tin về chất lượng nước và hóa học nước còn thiếu sót. Để nghiên cứu những biến số còn thiếu này, 27 mẫu từ các giếng ống nông đã được thu thập để phân tích các chỉ số vật lý-hóa học liên quan giúp tạo ra chỉ số Schoeller, biểu đồ Piper, và đồ thị Gibbs. Biểu đồ Piper cho thấy hành vi hóa học của nước với các giá trị khác nhau theo mẫu nước ngầm. Hóa học của các giếng chủ yếu bị chi phối bởi quá trình bay hơi dựa trên đồ thị Gibbs. Các giá trị của chỉ số Schoeller của các mẫu được nghiên cứu cho thấy 59% trong số đó không cân bằng trong Chloro-Alkaline do các giá trị âm thu được, trong khi phần còn lại tạo ra các ước lượng dương, cho thấy một phản ứng trao đổi của sự thống trị cation-anion cơ bản. Kết luận đã chỉ ra rằng sự phong hóa cacbonat và silicat, cũng như quá trình bay hơi, đã chi phối hóa học nước trong khu vực này. Sử dụng Chỉ số Chất lượng Nước, nước ngầm đã được đánh giá về khả năng sử dụng làm nước uống. Trong khi đó, tỷ lệ hấp thụ natri, tỷ lệ natri, cacbonat natri dư, nguy cơ magiê, và biểu đồ độ mặn của Mỹ đã được sử dụng để đánh giá tính phù hợp của cùng một nguồn nước cho việc tưới tiêu. Tất cả các chỉ số này, cũng như tỷ lệ Gibbs, cho thấy rằng tất cả 27 mẫu đều không phù hợp cho cả hai mục đích nghiên cứu. Ngoài ra, các kết quả đó cũng chỉ ra rằng quá trình bay hơi là một vấn đề lớn đối với nước ngầm trong khu vực này. Cuối cùng, sử dụng phân tích cụm, đã kết luận rằng có hai loại sự tương đồng thể hiện các mức độ ô nhiễm khác nhau trong nước ngầm.
