Thái độ về việc thiết lập sự đồng thuận tình dục của nam giới Trung Quốc: Vai trò tiêu cực của niềm tin chống cự tượng trưng và uống rượu say xỉn

Thái độ đối với việc thiết lập sự đồng thuận tình dục là một yếu tố tiên quyết quan trọng để hiểu liệu và như thế nào nam giới sẽ chủ động thương lượng sự đồng thuận trong các hoạt động tình dục. Tuy nhiên, còn rất ít thông tin về các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến thái độ về sự đồng thuận tình dục. Nghiên cứu hiện tại đã xem xét mối liên hệ giữa ba nhóm yếu tố được biết đến là liên quan đến văn hóa tấn công tình dục (tức là: phân biệt giới tính thù địch và khoan dung, niềm tin chống cự tượng trưng, và sự chấp nhận huyền thoại hiếp dâm) với thái độ về sự đồng thuận tình dục của nam giới Trung Quốc, đồng thời xem liệu những mối liên hệ này có khác nhau tùy thuộc vào lịch sử uống rượu say xỉn trước khi quan hệ hay không. Dữ liệu từ 399 nam giới trưởng thành Trung Quốc đã có quan hệ tình dục với phụ nữ trong năm qua đã được phân tích. Kết quả cho thấy rằng niềm tin chống cự tượng trưng, nhưng không phải sự chấp nhận huyền thoại hiếp dâm, đã trung gian hóa mối quan hệ giữa phân biệt giới tính thù địch và thái độ tích cực về sự đồng thuận tình dục, một mối liên hệ có ý nghĩa ở cả nam giới có và không có tiền sử uống rượu say xỉn trước khi quan hệ. Phân biệt giới tính khoan dung cho thấy tác động trực tiếp và tích cực đáng kể tới thái độ tích cực về đồng thuận tình dục. Quan trọng là, trong số nam giới có lịch sử uống rượu say xỉn trước khi quan hệ, phân biệt giới tính khoan dung đã có tác động gián tiếp đáng kể tới thái độ tích cực về sự đồng thuận tình dục thông qua niềm tin chống cự tượng trưng. Hơn nữa, tác động hỗ trợ trực tiếp của phân biệt giới tính khoan dung đối với thái độ tích cực về sự đồng thuận tình dục cũng bị áp chế bởi lịch sử uống rượu say xỉn trước khi quan hệ. Những phát hiện này cho thấy phân biệt giới tính thù địch, niềm tin chống cự tượng trưng, và việc uống rượu say xỉn, có thể gây hại cho thái độ tích cực về sự đồng thuận tình dục, và có thể là những điểm khởi đầu quan trọng cho các dự án phòng ngừa tấn công tình dục tại Trung Quốc.
