Granitoid và ortho-gneiss (~1.7 Ga) từ phần phía bắc của Complex Gneissic Banded (miền BGC-II), Craton Aravalli (Tây Bắc Ấn Độ) đã được phân tích hóa học địa chất để hiểu rõ điều kiện địa động lực và quá trình tiến hóa của vỏ trái đất. Các mẫu được phân loại là kim loại (metaluminous) đến peraluminous (A/CNK mol: 0.74–2.12), và có đặc trưng với sự bất thường Eu dao động từ 0.17 đến 1.06, tỉ lệ Fe2O3T/(Fe2O3T + MgO) từ 0.8 đến 0.9 và nhiệt độ bão hòa zircon magma cao (> 830 °C) - những đặc điểm cho thấy sự liên quan với granite loại A. Các biểu đồ phân loại kiến tectonic phân loại các mẫu này là granite loại A2 kéo dài sau va chạm. Các đặc điểm hóa học địa chất kết hợp với tỷ lệ nguyên tố hiếm [(Y/Nb)N = 0.15 đến 4.33 (trung bình 0.76), (Th/Nb)N = 4.63 đến 255.47 (trung bình 63.13), (Th/Ta)N = 1.37 đến 9.84 (trung bình 8.86), (Ce/Pb)N = 0.05 đến 3.05 (trung bình 1.43)] cho thấy rằng các đá này bắt nguồn từ một nguồn vỏ trái đất giàu plagioclase và không có garnet dưới điều kiện áp suất thấp. Hơn nữa, cũng được đề xuất rằng các đá tonalite-trondhjemite-granodiorite (TTG) chiếm ưu thế ở phía nam Rajasthan (BGC-I) là tiền thân, và sự nóng chảy một phần của chúng dẫn đến sự hình thành của các mẫu granite loại A đã được nghiên cứu. Các mẫu nghiên cứu cũng có sự tương đồng hóa học địa chất gần gũi với các granite loại A cùng độ tuổi (~1.7 Ga) gần khu vực Sakhun-Ladera ở phía bắc BGC-II.
