Phân tích điện gel các allozyme đã được sử dụng để nghiên cứu cấu trúc di truyền của quần thể ốc xâm lấn Stenomphalia ravergiensis sống trong các khu vực đô thị tại thành phố Belgorod (Nga). Mức độ biến dị di truyền cao và giá trị hệ số giao phối thấp là đặc trưng của hầu hết các thuộc địa. Sự phân tách di truyền yếu giữa các nhóm ốc đã được nghiên cứu cũng đã được chứng minh. Phân bố của các thuộc địa xâm lấn được cho là tương ứng với mô hình đảo. Việc tính toán kích thước quần thể hiệu quả và so sánh giá trị này với các tham số tương ứng của các loài động vật thân mềm bản địa và xâm lấn cho thấy mức độ sống sót cao của quần thể loài này trong khu vực nghiên cứu.
