Various calculations of the integral spectrum of γ-rays from the neutral pion decays generated in ppinteractions have been analyzed. The estimate of the integral γ-ray spectrum with allowance for the behavior of the cross section of π 0 production in the pp → pp + nπ 0 + X reaction near the threshold for each channel and the proton spectrum at low energies (<1 GeV) proved to be much lower than those obtained in earlier calculations.
