Ô nhiễm môi trường và biến đổi khí hậu buộc các nền kinh tế phải tìm kiếm các phương pháp mới cho sự phát triển kinh tế bền vững. Tăng trưởng xanh được coi là một cách hiệu quả để đạt được sự bền vững môi trường. Từ quan điểm này, nghiên cứu này đánh giá tác động của các cú sốc chính sách tài khóa, các tổ chức tài chính và sự phát triển của thị trường đến tăng trưởng xanh của các nền kinh tế phát thải cao. Nghiên cứu đã sử dụng phương pháp CS-NARDL để điều tra các ước lượng trong ngắn hạn và dài hạn. Kết quả cho thấy, các cú sốc tích cực từ chi tiêu chính phủ có xu hướng làm tăng đáng kể tăng trưởng xanh trong dài hạn. Ngược lại, cú sốc tiêu cực từ chi tiêu chính phủ không cho thấy ảnh hưởng đáng kể đến tăng trưởng xanh trong dài hạn. Hiệu quả của các tổ chức tài chính và thị trường tài chính có tác động tích cực đến tăng trưởng xanh trong dài hạn. Do đó, các phát hiện của nghiên cứu cho thấy rằng chi tiêu chính phủ nên được tăng cường, đặc biệt chú trọng vào hiệu quả của thị trường tài chính và hiệu quả của các tổ chức tài chính nhằm nâng cao tăng trưởng xanh.
