Bài báo này mô tả sự tổng hợp các hạt nanopore AuPt (np-AuPt NPs) thông qua các phản ứng thay thế galvanic có sự tham gia của các hạt nanoparticle bạc (Ag NPs) kích thước lớn được điện phân trên phim kính indium tin oxide (ITO) như một khuôn hy sinh. So với phương pháp tổng hợp trước đây dựa trên sự hình thành và tách hợp kim loại của các hạt hợp kim Ag/Au, phương pháp này có thể dễ dàng chế tạo các hạt nanopore Au (np-Au NPs), cũng như các hạt nanopore AuPt. Đặc trưng cấu trúc cho thấy sản phẩm có kích thước hạt khoảng 170 nm với kích thước dây nối vài chục nanomet. Các điện cực np-Au NPs/ITO và np-AuPt NPs/ITO cũng đã được thử nghiệm và so sánh cho sự oxi hóa hydrogen peroxide trong dung dịch đệm phosphate (pH 7.0). Điện cực np-AuPt NPs/ITO cho thấy hiệu suất điện xúc tác và độ nhạy phát hiện hydrogen peroxide cao hơn nhiều so với điện cực np-Au NPs/ITO.
