Nghiên cứu định tính này điều tra các mối quan hệ liên tổ chức (IORs) thông qua 16 tổ chức phi lợi nhuận phục vụ người Canada gốc Hoa ở Canada. Nghiên cứu này tiết lộ cách mà các tổ chức tiềm năng đối tác nhận thức về danh tính tổ chức của nhau, điều này ảnh hưởng đến việc hình thành và kết quả của các IORs. Một quan điểm sinh thái tổ chức về danh tính tổ chức đã được áp dụng. Nghiên cứu phát hiện rằng sự kết hợp danh tính tổ chức dựa trên giá trị và dựa trên nguồn lực của các tổ chức tiềm năng đối tác có thể thúc đẩy các hình thức IOR tương ứng.
