Nền tảng: Bằng chứng ngày càng tăng cho thấy sự rối loạn trong sự ổn định H2S có thể tham gia vào sự phát triển của tăng huyết áp. Trong nghiên cứu này, chúng tôi so sánh phản ứng hemodynamic khi tiêm vào não thất (ICV) natri hydrosulfide (NaHS), một tác nhân tạo H2S, giữa chuột bình thường (WKY), chuột tăng huyết áp tự phát (SHR) và chuột tăng huyết áp do angiotensin II gây ra (WKY-Ang II). Tiêm ICV 100 nmol/h tạo ra phản ứng hai pha tức là hạ huyết áp nhẹ và chậm nhịp tim sau đó là sự gia tăng MABP và HR, trong khi tiêm 300 nmol/h của tác nhân tạo H2S gây ra sự gia tăng một pha ở MABP và HR. Ngược lại, chuột SHR cũng như chuột WKY-Ang II cho thấy sự giảm MABP và HR trong quá trình tiêm ICV NaHS.
