Tóm tắt

Evolution of enzyme polymorphism in experimental populations of Drosophila melanogaster III. Linkage disequilibrium between alleles of the Adh and α-Gpdh loci — The evolution of gametic frequencies and linkage disequilibria between alleles of the Adh and α-Gpdh-loci was followed in two experimental populations of Drosophila melanogaster maintained at different temperatures. The results observed were compared with those expected on the basis of theoretical models of gametic selection. Gametic fitness values were estimated from the analysis of the productivity of the different homozygous genotypes. Our experimental results indicate that the selection favours an association between the alleles Adh-F and α-Gpdh-S, but it is impossible to generate and/or maintain a stable linkage disequilibrium between the two alleles.
