Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là để đánh giá khả năng phục hồi cho việc quản lý các cảnh quan và cảnh biển sản xuất xã hội - sinh thái (SEPLS) tại vùng Lefke, Bắc Síp thông qua quản lý đồng thích ứng (ACM). Để đạt được điều này, các thuộc tính quan trọng của ACM trong bối cảnh quản lý cảnh quan phục hồi đã được đánh giá: sự đa dạng của các phương pháp học tập xã hội, các bên liên quan và các mạng xã hội, vai trò của tri thức truyền thống trong quản lý, hiệu quả của các tổ chức hiện có trong việc bảo tồn và quản lý cảnh quan, cùng với các phản ứng chính sách tiềm năng nhằm xây dựng và củng cố khả năng phục hồi của cảnh quan. Phương pháp nghiên cứu bao gồm: phát triển một khung đánh giá ACM cho SEPLS, khám phá các chỉ số tiềm năng để đánh giá khả năng phục hồi, thu thập dữ liệu thông qua các cuộc phỏng vấn bán cấu trúc và đánh giá dữ liệu. Dữ liệu thu thập được đánh giá dựa trên thang điểm Likert từ 1–5. Kết quả đánh giá cho thấy rằng việc quản lý hiện tại của SEPLS còn kém hiệu quả. Giá trị tương đối trung bình của các thuộc tính chính về khả năng phục hồi trong việc quản lý SEPLS dường như thay đổi từ mức trung bình đến mức rất thấp. Tuy nhiên, có thể lập luận rằng cơ chế của ACM có thể được xây dựng dựa trên sự hợp tác và chia sẻ quyền lực giữa các bên liên quan chính hoạt động ở các cấp độ khác nhau. Cuối cùng, một loạt phản ứng chính sách đã được đề xuất để góp phần vào việc quản lý cảnh quan phục hồi ở khu vực này. Các kết quả của nghiên cứu này được kỳ vọng sẽ giúp các nhà hoạch định chính sách, các nhà quy hoạch tài nguyên và cảnh quan thiết lập và củng cố việc quản lý cảnh quan phục hồi tại vùng Lefke và ở các địa điểm khác.
