Các protoplast được thu nhận từ các nền văn hóa treo của đậu cánh và một dòng tế bào u vương miện của Parthenocissus tricuspidata đã được khử hạt nhân bằng cách ly tâm trên các gradient Percoli không đồng nhất iso-osmotic và trên các gradient mật độ sucrose-mannitol không đồng nhất. Quá trình khử hạt nhân được thực hiện dựa trên mật độ nổi của các protoplast và cả hai loại cytoplast và miniprotoplast đã được thu hồi.
