Tóm tắt
Trong giai đoạn 2015-2018, chỉ số Khởi nghiệp Toàn cầu (GEI) của Nigeria đã cho thấy xu hướng giảm sút, điều này thể hiện một thách thức lớn đối với sự phát triển khởi nghiệp tại nước này. Để hiểu rõ hơn về một số biến giải thích cho hiện tượng này, Lý thuyết Hành vi có Kế hoạch (TPB) đã được áp dụng và mở rộng để xem xét các tác động gián tiếp của hiệu quả đào tạo khởi nghiệp và hỗ trợ khởi nghiệp của chính phủ đối với ý định khởi nghiệp trong lĩnh vực công nghệ thông tin của sinh viên giáo dục nghề nghiệp thông qua thái độ và kiểm soát hành vi được cảm nhận, nhằm thu nhận những hiểu biết để giải quyết thách thức nêu trên. Phương pháp định lượng đã được sử dụng thông qua dữ liệu thu thập từ sinh viên giáo dục nghề nghiệp được chọn mẫu và được phân tích bằng Mô hình Phương trình Cấu trúc Phân tích Tương ứng (PLS-SEM). Kết quả ủng hộ tất cả các giả thuyết về tác động của các đường gián tiếp. Điều này ngụ ý rằng thái độ và kiểm soát hành vi được xây dựng tự nhiên một mình không thể tác động đến ý định khởi nghiệp của sinh viên giáo dục nghề nghiệp; cần phải được nâng cao thông qua đào tạo khởi nghiệp hiệu quả và sự hỗ trợ từ chính phủ. Nghiên cứu này mở ra một mô hình nghiên cứu mới để khám phá các yếu tố xác định nguyên bản của ý định thông qua các phân tích đường gián tiếp. Việc áp dụng các phát hiện này có thể giảm sự phụ thuộc vào khu vực công trong việc tạo ra việc làm. Nó cũng có thể tạo ra việc làm giúp giảm bớt khủng hoảng xã hội thông qua việc làm trong các doanh nghiệp tư nhân.
