Quá trình quang phân hủy hiệu quả methylene blue từ nước thải phòng thí nghiệm y tế bằng các hạt nano MgO tổng hợp bằng phương pháp kết tủa trực tiếp

Methylene blue là thành phần chính của một số thuốc nhuộm như thuốc nhuộm Wright-Giemsa và Leishman, được sử dụng trong các phòng thí nghiệm mô học và huyết học. 97.8% methylene blue từ nước thải phòng thí nghiệm y tế đã được quang phân hủy với sự hỗ trợ của các hạt nano MgO làm chất quang xúc tác và chiếu sáng mặt trời trực tiếp như một nguồn năng lượng tái tạo. Tốc độ quang phân hủy đạt 0.0184 phút⁻¹. Phương pháp kết tủa trực tiếp đã được sử dụng như một phương pháp đơn giản và chi phí thấp để tổng hợp các hạt nano MgO có kích thước trong khoảng 2.5-11.3 nm như ước lượng từ các đỉnh nhiễu xạ X-ray. Năng lượng khoảng cách ban đầu của quang phổ quang học đã giảm xuống còn 4.25 eV. Quang phổ phát quang của các hạt nano MgO cho thấy bốn băng tương ứng với các khuyết tật khoảng trống oxy F và F+. Các yếu tố vận hành (liều lượng MgO, pH ban đầu, năng lượng nguồn bức xạ, nồng độ ban đầu của thuốc nhuộm và nhiệt độ) đã được đánh giá về hiệu quả và tốc độ của quá trình quang phân hủy. Hiệu quả của các hạt nano MgO được tổng hợp đã được so sánh với các hạt nano TiO2 và ZnO.
