Tóm tắt

Nghiên cứu này khám phá tác động của việc viết tóm tắt tích hợp, một hình thức ôn tập trước khi sản xuất lời nói, đến việc làm giảm lo âu liên quan đến nói tiếng Anh và cải thiện năng lực nói của người học trong môi trường kiểm tra dựa trên máy tính (CBT). Một nền tảng đào tạo và kiểm tra ngôn ngữ trực tuyến đã được phát triển để tích hợp việc viết tóm tắt với các bài kiểm tra nói trực tuyến. Sử dụng phương pháp nghiên cứu thực nghiệm gần đúng, 50 sinh viên đại học trong khóa học 16 tuần về tiếng Anh như ngôn ngữ ngoại (EFL) đã được phân bổ ngẫu nhiên vào lớp thí nghiệm và lớp đối chứng. Đối với lớp thí nghiệm, sinh viên được yêu cầu hoàn thành một nhiệm vụ viết tóm tắt tích hợp trước khi tham gia các bài kiểm tra nói trực tuyến hàng tuần như một hoạt động lớp học thường lệ. Đối với sinh viên trong lớp đối chứng, việc viết tóm tắt tích hợp là một nhiệm vụ tùy chọn trước các bài kiểm tra nói trực tuyến. Dựa trên bài kiểm tra T độc lập của dữ liệu định lượng từ phản hồi bảng hỏi, các phát hiện chỉ ra rằng việc viết tóm tắt tích hợp có lợi cho việc cải thiện sản xuất lời nói của sinh viên và giúp họ quen thuộc hơn với đầu vào ngôn ngữ trước đó, điều này giúp giảm mức độ lo âu của họ trong các nhiệm vụ nói tiếp theo trong môi trường CBT. Thú vị hơn, phân tích ANCOVA một chiều về sản xuất lời nói của sinh viên trong các bài kiểm tra trước và sau cho thấy những sinh viên trong lớp thí nghiệm đã vượt trội hơn so với những sinh viên trong lớp đối chứng về khả năng sản xuất lời nói. Nghiên cứu này làm sáng tỏ tiềm năng của việc viết tóm tắt tích hợp trong việc giảm lo âu liên quan đến nói của người học EFL cũng như cải thiện hiệu suất nói của họ trong môi trường CBT.
