Tóm tắtKiến thức chính xác về tỷ lệ sinh sống đối với các phôi ở giai đoạn phân đôi là rất cần thiết để xác định số lượng phôi thích hợp để chuyển giao một lần. Kết quả từ các nghiên cứu trước thiếu các chi tiết cần thiết cho việc sử dụng thực tiễn. Đây là một nghiên cứu phân tích toán học và xây dựng mô hình cho việc chuyển phôi giai đoạn phân đôi vào ngày thứ 3. Tổng cộng có 996 phôi đã được chuyển trong 274 lần chuyển phôi tươi và 83 lần chuyển phôi đông lạnh. Hình thái phôi được phân chia thành 4 nhóm dựa trên số lượng tế bào và tỷ lệ phân mảnh. Mỗi lần chuyển phôi được mô hình hóa như một phương trình, trong đó tổng tỷ lệ sinh sống của các phôi được chuyển bằng với số lượng sinh sống đã xảy ra. Giải pháp tối thiểu được xác định cho hệ phương trình chuyển phôi bằng cách sử dụng đại số tuyến tính. Phân tích này được lặp lại cho các đối tượng từ 35 đến 42 tuổi khi thu nhận noãn. Tỷ lệ sinh sống tốt nhất trên từng phôi trong nhóm tuổi tập trung vào 35 tuổi lần lượt là 29%, 13%, 10% và 9% cho các phôi trong nhóm 8 tế bào với ≤ 5% phân mảnh, 8 tế bào với > 5% phân mảnh, 9-12 tế bào và 6-7 tế bào. Các phôi giai đoạn phân đôi có ít hơn 6 tế bào vào ngày thứ 3 có tỷ lệ sinh sống tốt nhất gần 0% khi ở tuổi 39 và đã bị loại ra khỏi phân tích chính để tránh việc khớp quá mức. Những tỷ lệ sinh sống này có thể được sử dụng với một mô hình chuyển phôi đơn giản để dự đoán tỷ lệ mang thai đơn và đa thai trước một lần chuyển phôi giai đoạn phân đôi đã được lên kế hoạch.
