Nghiên cứu này đánh giá hiệu quả của Chương trình Đào tạo Khôi phục Cá nhân ngắn (PRTP) cho các chuyên gia sức khỏe tâm thần. Năm mươi hai chuyên gia y tế từ các dịch vụ sức khỏe tâm thần ở Ý và bốn mươi sinh viên trong phục hồi tâm thần đã hoàn thành Bảng hỏi Kiến thức Khôi phục (RKI) trước và sau đào tạo, được chia thành hai nhóm: PRTP (N = 45) và Chương trình Đào tạo Tâm lý Giáo dục Gia đình (FPTP; N = 47). Sự hiểu biết của người tham gia về khôi phục cá nhân đã được cải thiện rõ rệt hơn đối với những người trong nhóm PRTP so với nhóm FPTP ở hai lĩnh vực, “Vai trò và trách nhiệm” và “Tính phi tuyến của quá trình khôi phục”; nhóm FPTP cho thấy sự cải thiện rõ rệt trong lĩnh vực “Vai trò tự định nghĩa và vai trò đồng nghiệp trong khôi phục”.
