Tóm tắt Mục tiêu Thực hành dược ngày càng xoay quanh việc thu thập và diễn giải thông tin. Chúng tôi đã điều tra xem các nhà nghiên cứu thực hành dược thiết kế nghiên cứu của họ như thế nào để công nhận giao tiếp bằng lời giữa các dược sĩ và bệnh nhân tiểu đường. Chúng tôi đã tìm kiếm MEDLINE, EMBASE, Thư viện Cochrane và Tóm tắt Dược phẩm Quốc tế từ năm 2003 đến 2008 để xác định các nghiên cứu có liên quan được xuất bản bằng tiếng Anh. Các danh sách tài liệu của các nghiên cứu chính cũng được quét để xác định thêm các nghiên cứu khác. Các thử nghiệm lâm sàng ngẫu nhiên và những nghiên cứu liên quan đến giao tiếp bằng lời của dược sĩ với bệnh nhân tiểu đường đã được đưa vào.
