Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là phát triển một mô hình chuột cống cho bệnh hoại tử xương hàm liên quan đến bisphosphonates (BRONJ), được xác thực qua các kiểm tra lâm sàng, hình ảnh và mô học, và khẳng định ảnh hưởng của việc sử dụng đồng thời bisphosphonates và steroid đến sự xuất hiện và làm trầm trọng thêm BRONJ.

Phương pháp

Hai mươi bảy con chuột cống được chia làm 3 nhóm; Nhóm muối sinh lý (I), Nhóm Zoledronate (II), Nhóm Zoledronate và Dexamethasone (III). Các con chuột được tiêm vào phúc mạc hàng tuần trong 4 lần và sau đó tiến hành nhổ răng số 1 và số 2 ở hàm trên và hàm dưới trái. Các mũi tiêm liên tiếp được thực hiện, và việc lấy mẫu máu để đo lường peptide gợi ý kiểu tận cùng C liên kết chéo của collagen loại I và phosphate acid kháng tartrate 5b ở chuột được thực hiện vào thời điểm 2, 4 và 8 tuần. Sau đó, các con chuột được hy sinh và đánh giá lâm sàng, hình ảnh và mô học.
