Trong nghiên cứu này, các đường cong độ dài-tần suất đã được phát triển cho D = 1, 7, 14, 30, 90 và 273 ngày dòng chảy thấp tương ứng với các chu kỳ trở lại 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 và 100 năm. Để thực hiện điều này, dữ liệu hàng ngày thu được từ các trạm đo lường dòng chảy với tác động nhân tạo được tối thiểu hóa đã được sử dụng. Một phân tích tần suất hỗn hợp kết hợp với định lý xác suất tổng đã được áp dụng trên các chuỗi thấp D ngày để đáp ứng các giá trị bằng không. Trong số các hàm phân phối xác suất được thử nghiệm, Giá trị cực trị tổng quát đã được tìm thấy là phù hợp nhất để mô tả dòng chảy thấp trong phần lớn các trường hợp. Lưu lượng dòng chảy thấp tăng lên với thời gian tăng trong khi giảm xuống với chu kỳ trở lại tăng cho một khoảng thời gian nhất định.
