Chúng tôi xem xét các nhân tố quyết định việc sử dụng dịch vụ nha khoa, đặc biệt là vai trò của các yếu tố cung ứng trong quy trình ra quyết định sử dụng, bằng cách sử dụng dữ liệu từ Khảo sát Y tế Phần Lan năm 1996. Trong mô hình hai phần, việc tìm kiếm dịch vụ được mô hình hóa bằng mô hình probit nhị biến với sự xem xét đến trí nhớ của nha sĩ, trong khi số lần khám nha sĩ dương tính được mô hình hóa bằng mô hình phân phối nhị thức âm bị cắt đứt ở không.
