Nghiên cứu này đề xuất một tập hợp các nguyên tắc thiết kế tương tác cho việc phát triển các ứng dụng thực tế tăng cường di động (MAR). Các khuyến nghị thiết kế áp dụng quan điểm lấy người dùng làm trung tâm, do đó, chúng tập trung vào các hành động cần thiết để đảm bảo trải nghiệm người dùng MAR chất lượng cao. Để xây dựng các đề xuất của chúng tôi, chúng tôi dựa vào lý thuyết nền tảng và đánh giá tám ứng dụng MAR cung cấp các hồ sơ thiết kế đã được công bố. Các nguyên tắc thiết kế sau đó đã được áp dụng để hướng dẫn phát triển một ứng dụng du lịch MAR. Chúng tôi đã tiến hành một nghiên cứu thực địa với 33 du khách để xác định xem các lựa chọn thiết kế của chúng tôi có thực sự dẫn đến sự hài lòng cao hơn và trải nghiệm tổng thể tốt hơn hay không. Kết quả cho thấy các nguyên tắc được đề xuất góp phần đảm bảo tính khả dụng và hiệu suất cao của ứng dụng MAR cũng như gợi lên cảm giác tích cực trong quá trình tương tác giữa người dùng và hệ thống. Các chỉ dẫn của chúng tôi có thể được sử dụng như một hướng dẫn trong các giai đoạn đầu của quá trình thiết kế (sử dụng trước) hoặc như một tiêu chí để đánh giá hiệu suất (sử dụng sau) của các ứng dụng MAR.
