Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là khảo sát đặc tính cơ chất của hai peroxygenase thơm liên quan đến các hợp chất polyaromatic với kích thước và cấu trúc khác nhau cũng như xác định các chuyển hóa chính của quá trình oxy hóa của chúng. Do đó, chúng tôi báo cáo ở đây về các con đường và phản ứng mới cho 2-methylnaphthalene, 1-methylnaphthalene, dibenzofuran, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene và pyrene được xúc tác bởi các peroxygenase từ Agrocybe aegerita và Coprinellus radians (viết tắt là AaP và CrP).
