Tóm tắt Nuốt phải đồng sulfat (không cố ý hoặc cố ý) là một dạng ngộ độc hiếm gặp thường chỉ xuất hiện ở tiểu lục địa Ấn Độ. Mặc dù tỷ lệ ngộ độc đang có xu hướng giảm, nhưng điều quan trọng là các bác sĩ cần nhận thức được các biến chứng gây tử vong và chiến lược quản lý liên quan. Các biến chứng chính của việc nuốt phải đồng sulfat bao gồm tan máu nội mạch, methemoglobinaemia, tổn thương thận cấp tính và hủy cơ vân. Liều gây tử vong có thể nhỏ tới 10 gram. Chúng tôi đã khám phá các biến chứng của ngộ độc đồng sulfat cấp tính với các ví dụ từ hai trường hợp trình bày. Chúng tôi cũng khuyến nghị các biện pháp nhằm ngăn ngừa những sự kiện như vậy.
