Đại dịch COVID-19 và việc phong tỏa đã ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng đến sức khỏe tổng thể của dân số và tác động đến các trải nghiệm xã hội tình dục, từ đó làm thay đổi hành vi, mong muốn và sự hạnh phúc tình dục. Phân tích cụm vẫn chưa được áp dụng để nghiên cứu và dữ liệu liên quan đến các khía cạnh xã hội tình dục. Phương pháp phân tích cụm có thể là một hỗ trợ hợp lệ cho các nhà lâm sàng trong việc điều tra tình trạng của một dân số liên quan đến các vấn đề liên quan đến xã hội tình dục. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu hiện tại là phân tích những nhận thức khác nhau về trải nghiệm xã hội tình dục của dân cư miền Nam trong thời gian đại dịch COVID-19. Chúng tôi đã tuyển chọn 734 (450 nữ) người tham gia thông qua một cuộc khảo sát trực tuyến ẩn danh từ ngày 16 tháng 4 năm 2020 đến ngày 3 tháng 6 năm 2020. Bảng Kiểm tra Định hướng Xã hội Tình dục được sửa đổi (SOI-R) là một bài kiểm tra tự báo cáo đánh giá ba khía cạnh lý thuyết có ý nghĩa của định hướng xã hội tình dục (hành vi, thái độ và mong muốn). Chúng tôi đã tìm thấy mười một cụm, và các phát hiện cho thấy, lần đầu tiên, sự không đồng nhất trong và giữa chẩn đoán trong hồ sơ tình dục của người tham gia. Về lý thuyết, chúng tôi đã xác định các cụm loại con mà thái độ tình dục của họ là tránh xa sự dâm đãng tình dục với sự khác biệt đáng kể giữa các giới. Phụ nữ thể hiện xu hướng lớn hơn về khía cạnh thái độ và mong muốn so với nam giới. Phương pháp học không giám sát mới của chúng tôi có thể đại diện cho một công cụ đáng tin cậy để hỗ trợ nghiên cứu phân tích xã hội văn hóa về các vấn đề bị ảnh hưởng bởi các cơ chế văn hóa một cách nhanh chóng và giải thích tốt, chẳng hạn như sự khác biệt trong định hướng và thái độ tình dục giữa nam và nữ.
