Bảy mươi sáu trẻ em có chẩn đoán rối loạn hành vi đã được kiểm tra bằng bài kiểm tra phản xạ có điều kiện vận động và bài kiểm tra liên tưởng từ. Về cơ bản không có sự khác biệt nào được tìm thấy khi so sánh hiệu suất kiểm tra với 142 đối chứng bình thường. Khi các chẩn đoán được chia thành các nhóm rối loạn tâm lý, phản ứng điều chỉnh của trẻ em và rối loạn nhân cách, không có nhóm con nào thể hiện sự khác biệt đặc trưng nào. Những khác biệt thực nghiệm giữa các loại rối loạn kích thích và ức chế lâm sàng đã không được xác lập. Các báo cáo của Nga về các thông số Pavlovian cơ bản bất thường không thể được xác nhận. Trong rối loạn hành vi ở người lớn, có những rối loạn chức năng đáng kể.
