Cartridge injector and mini injector for on‐line gland maintenance

A new method in gland sealing has been announced by TOM‐PAC with the launch of its cartridge injector and mini‐injector. The new injectors, which won a Design for Maintenance Certificate at PEMEC 88, are specifically designed for use by plant operators and will allow maintenance of glands without the need for tools or plant down‐time. Cost‐effective and easy to use, the injectors will effectively seal and maintain glands by injecting TP‐4000, a TOM‐PAC self‐lubricating sealing compound, into the gland to keep it ‘topped up’.
