Thiết Kế và Phát Triển Nghề Nghiệp cho Người Lớn Có Khuyết Tật Trí Tuệ: Đánh Giá Chương Trình

Các hệ thống hỗ trợ khuyết tật chính thức đang tập trung vào việc thúc đẩy việc làm tích hợp trong cộng đồng cho người lớn có khuyết tật trí tuệ. Nghiên cứu này mô tả và đánh giá một phương pháp mới về dịch vụ việc làm được thực hiện trong một cơ quan dịch vụ cộng đồng cho người lớn có khuyết tật trí tuệ nhằm thúc đẩy những kết quả đó. Phương pháp này sử dụng Mô Hình Thiết Kế Nghề Nghiệp Tự Quyết (SDCDM) cùng với các hoạt động phát triển việc làm để hoàn toàn tham gia người có khuyết tật trí tuệ vào quá trình thiết kế nghề nghiệp. Chín trong số 12 người tham gia đã tìm được việc làm tích hợp, làm việc trung bình 3,8 giờ mỗi ngày, 2,3 ngày mỗi tuần. Các thành phần chính của chương trình bao gồm tập trung vào điểm mạnh, xác định các hỗ trợ môi trường và sử dụng các thực tiễn dựa trên nghiên cứu để hỗ trợ sự tự quyết, phát triển việc làm và thiết kế nghề nghiệp.
