Tóm tắt

Five years have passed sinceCampylobacter jejunibecame generally recognized as a common cause of acute diarrhoea (Skirrow, 1977) – although the essential scientific discovery which led to this had been made several years earlier (Butzleret al.1973) – so this is an appropriate time to take stock of what has happened in that time and consider what we might usefully be doing to control the disease.
