Trong quản lý động vật hoang dã, những quan điểm khác nhau giữa các bên liên quan tạo ra xung đột về cách đạt được các mục tiêu bền vững khác nhau bao gồm các khía cạnh sinh thái, kinh tế và văn hóa xã hội. Để giảm thiểu những xung đột này, các quyết định liên quan đến quản lý động vật hoang dã phải được đưa ra một cách thận trọng. Theo hiểu biết của chúng tôi, hiện nay chưa có khung mô hình tích hợp nào để thông tin cho các quyết định này, xem xét tất cả các khía cạnh của sự bền vững. Chúng tôi đã xây dựng một công cụ hỗ trợ quyết định dựa trên các hội thảo của các bên liên quan và một mạng quyết định Bayesian để thông tin cho việc quản lý động vật nhai lại hoang dã tại tiểu bang Liên bang Hạ Áo. Chúng tôi sử dụng phân tích quyết định hợp tác để so sánh việc phân bổ nguồn lực đồng thời tính đến các sự đánh đổi giữa các khía cạnh của sự bền vững. Công cụ của chúng tôi được thiết kế để được áp dụng bởi những người sử dụng không chuyên môn trong các bối cảnh ra quyết định đa dạng với những bộ hành động quản lý động vật hoang dã, mục tiêu và bất định cụ thể. Công cụ của chúng tôi đại diện cho một bước tiến quan trọng hướng tới việc phát triển và đánh giá một phương pháp minh bạch và có thể lặp lại nhằm giảm thiểu các xung đột liên quan đến động vật hoang dã ở châu Âu và các khu vực khác.
