Để lấp đầy khoảng trống này, chúng tôi đã đặt mục tiêu tạo ra một nghiên cứu khuyến nghị có thể được sử dụng trong thực hành lâm sàng, giải quyết mọi khía cạnh của nuốt khó trong ICU một cách chi tiết với ý kiến của các chuyên gia đa ngành có kinh nghiệm. Bài báo khuyến nghị này được tạo ra bởi một nhóm đa ngành, sử dụng quy trình bảy bước và ba vòng Delphi điều chỉnh qua e-mail. Đầu tiên, 15 câu hỏi mở đã được tạo ra, sau đó các khuyến nghị chi tiết bao gồm nguyên tắc chung, quản lý, chẩn đoán, phục hồi chức năng và theo dõi đã được tạo ra từ những câu trả lời cho các câu hỏi này.
