Từ 7 nghiên cứu này, chúng tôi chỉ xác định được hai nghiên cứu mà liên quan tình trạng yếu ở bệnh nhân CKD với một kết quả lâm sàng. CKD được liên kết một cách nhất quán với việc gia tăng tình trạng yếu hoặc giảm chức năng thể chất [tỷ lệ odds (OR) từ 1,30 đến 3,12]. Ở những bệnh nhân bị CKD, tình trạng yếu liên quan đến nguy cơ cao hơn gấp đôi về chạy thận nhân tạo và/hoặc tử vong [OR từ 2,0 đến 5,88]. Kết luận CKD có liên quan đến nguy cơ cao hơn về tình trạng yếu hoặc chức năng thể chất bị suy giảm. Hơn nữa, sự hiện diện của tình trạng yếu ở bệnh nhân CKD có thể dẫn đến nguy cơ tử vong cao hơn. Các nghiên cứu tiếp theo cần được thực hiện để hiểu rõ hơn về các cơ chế của tình trạng yếu trong CKD và để xác nhận mối liên kết của nó với các kết quả lâm sàng.
