Đánh giá ô nhiễm fluoride trong nước ngầm của các tầng chứa nước đá cứng ở huyện Madurai, Tamil Nadu (Ấn Độ)

Ô nhiễm fluoride trong nước uống đã đạt đến mức báo động và cần sự tham gia và chú ý ngay lập tức của mọi người để giải quyết vấn đề này. Vấn đề fluoride cao hơn ở các khu vực địa hình đá cứng trên toàn thế giới và Madurai là một khu vực đá cứng như vậy. Tổng cộng có 54 mẫu được thu thập từ huyện Madurai, Tamilnadu liên quan đến lithology. Các mẫu được phân tích cho các cation và anion chính theo các quy trình tiêu chuẩn. Nồng độ fluoride cao hơn được ghi nhận trong các loại đá Charnockite ở phía bắc của khu vực nghiên cứu. 20% mẫu dưới 0,5 ppm và 6% mẫu vượt quá 1,5 ppm, vượt quá giới hạn cho phép. Sự liên kết giữa pH và ion fluoride trong nước ngầm cho thấy sự hòa tan của các khoáng vật chứa fluoride trong nước ngầm. Nồng độ ion fluoride cao hơn được quan sát thấy ở nồng độ EC thấp.
