Việc tiếp cận những người sử dụng ma túy tiêm chích (IDUs) khó tiếp cận và có nguy cơ cao là một trong những thách thức quan trọng nhất đối với các chương trình kim tiêm và ống tiêm (NSP) hiện nay. Mục tiêu của bài tổng quan này là xem xét, dựa trên kinh nghiệm quốc tế hiện có, hiệu quả của các máy bán kim tiêm và các chương trình NSP cơ động bằng xe tải/bus trong việc làm cho dịch vụ dễ tiếp cận hơn đối với nhóm IDUs khó tiếp cận và có nguy cơ cao này. Một tìm kiếm tài liệu đã phát hiện 40 bài báo/báo cáo, trong đó có 18 bài liên quan đến máy phân phát (bao gồm máy bán hàng tự động và máy trao đổi) và 22 bài về xe tải di động.
