Approximating color consistency in retrieval using energy histograms of DCT coefficients

The paper presents the use of the energy histogram of DCT coefficients to approximate color consistency in retrieving gamma-corrected and filter-edited JPEG images. The work has been used for coarse searching of global color similarity in the SoloArt project.
