Phương pháp xấp xỉ vận chuyển dòng vào dựa trên xấp xỉ vận chuyển dòng vào có thể cải thiện đáng kể độ chính xác của phân tích lò phản ứng nước nhẹ (LWR), đặc biệt đối với việc xử lý hiệu ứng tán xạ không đồng nhất. Phương pháp xấp xỉ vận chuyển dòng vào trước đây dựa trên mặt cắt ngang của chất điều chỉnh và nguồn phân hạch được chuẩn hóa, mà được xấp xỉ bằng lý thuyết vận chuyển. Mặc dù độ chính xác của phản ứng được cải thiện, nhưng mô men dòng P0 lại có sai số lớn trong mã Monte Carlo. Trong nghiên cứu này, một phương pháp xấp xỉ vận chuyển dòng vào cải tiến đã được giới thiệu với các kỹ thuật đồng nhất hóa, áp dụng mặt cắt ngang đồng nhất hóa và nguồn phân hạch chính xác. Kết quả số học cho thấy rằng phương pháp xấp xỉ vận chuyển dòng vào cải tiến có thể tăng độ chính xác của mô men dòng P0 và duy trì độ chính xác tính toán phản ứng với phương pháp xấp xỉ vận chuyển dòng vào trước đó trong các trường hợp LWR điển hình. Ngoài cuộc điều tra này, phương pháp xấp xỉ vận chuyển dòng vào cải tiến có liên quan đến các yếu tố nhiệt độ. Phương pháp xấp xỉ vận chuyển dòng vào cải tiến là linh hoạt và chính xác trong việc xử lý hiệu ứng tán xạ không đồng nhất, có thể được sử dụng trực tiếp trong thư viện dữ liệu hạt nhân phụ thuộc nhiệt độ.
