Tóm tắt

Appendicitis caused by a foreign body is quite rare. Such a case becomes even more peculiar when ingestion of foreign body cannot be recalled or there has been no symptom prior to presentation as appendicular perforation. We report the case of a 20-year-old female, who presented with symptoms of appendicitis of one day duration in whom a metallic pin was discovered during surgery.
