Các hạt nano vàng được phủ 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP-Au NPs) đã được tổng hợp, đặc trưng hóa và phân tích sự tương tác của chúng với DNA và tế bào sống. Liên quan đến sự tương tác của DMAP-Au NPs với DNA, các phép titration hấp thụ cho thấy rằng có sự tương tác không liên kết giữa DNA và bề mặt bên ngoài của các hạt nano xảy ra.
