An Unusual Presentation of Sinonasal Neuroendocrine Carcinoma: a Case Report
Tóm tắt
Sinonasal malignancies are rare, squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma being the most common histologies. Neuroendocrine sinonasal malignancies are even more rare. We report a case of a 71-year-old who presented with a left infra-auricular swelling which was an unusual presentation for a sinonasal malignancy. Patient was subject to organ preserving surgery to reduce the morbidity. The treatment modality comprised both the chemoradiotherapy and surgery for a better prognosis.
