Tóm tắt

This study was conducted in a methodological design in order to develop measurement tools that evaluate the smoking behavior of individuals. To determine the validity of the scales, content validity, criterion validity, and construct validity were made. The content validity is above 0.90 at scales. For criterion validity, lower–upper group comparison in scales and item-total correlations have acceptable values. For construct validity, in the explanatory factor analysis, Kaiser–Meyer–Olkin (0.838–0.931) and Bartlett's tests (p < 0.001), eigenvalue analysis (3.407–5.626), and total variance explanation (36.689–51.144%) were examined. In confirmatory factor analysis, most of the fit indices of scales were found to be in the acceptable/excellent fit range. In order to determine the reliability of the scales, Cronbach’s alpha (0.792–0.901), split half method (r: 0.701–0.818), scoring consistency (0.792–0.901), Hotelling’s T2 (p = 0.000), and standard error were studied. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that the developed scales were valid and reliable.
