Trong bài báo này, chúng tôi phản ánh về 10 năm qua của Tạp chí Hiệp hội Nghiên cứu Hoạt động (JORS). Chúng tôi sử dụng phân tích siêu dữ liệu và trích dẫn để xây dựng hồ sơ nghiên cứu và thực hành nghiên cứu hoạt động được công bố trong tạp chí danh tiếng này. Phân tích tài liệu đã công bố bao gồm việc xem xét các biến như: tác giả có năng suất cao nhất, các bài báo có số lần trích dẫn cao nhất, các trường đại học và tổ chức có liên quan đến nhiều ấn phẩm nhất và sự đa dạng địa lý của chúng, các kỹ thuật OR và các lĩnh vực ứng dụng của chúng, số lượng tác giả trên mỗi bài báo, nền tảng của các tác giả, v.v. Hơn nữa, công việc này còn bao gồm các biến từ một nghiên cứu trước đó về JORS mà đã xây dựng hồ sơ nghiên cứu từ 1981 đến 1999.
