A novel 2D porous Cd(II) MOF with a (4,4) connected binodal network: Synthesis and photoluminescence sensing of small molecules

Yellow crystals of 1 were obtained. Yield: 34.62mg (63% based on Cd). Elemental analysis (%): calcd for (C15H17CdN3O4): C 43.34, H 4.12, N 10.11; found: C 42.73, H 4.57, N 11.36. IR (cm−1): 3812s, 1633s, 1614s, 1561s, 1442w, 1409w, 1369s, 1205w, 1117w, 776w, 694m, 555w. Crystallographic data for 1 (CCDC 1004167): C15H13CdN3O4, Mr=411.69, monoclinic, C2/c, a=12.125(7), b=15.104(7), c=17.820(9) Å, α=90, β=94.49, γ=90, V=3253.6(3) Å3, Z=8, ρcalcd=1.681g/cm3, μ=1.364mm−1, S=0.944, R1=0.0382 and wR2=0.1016.
