Bài báo này báo cáo về một phương pháp tổng hợp đơn giản và thân thiện với môi trường để chế tạo các hợp chất 1,4-disubstituted-1H-1,2,3-triazoles. Phản ứng giữa các alpha-azido ketones và các alkyne đầu trong sự hiện diện của [CuSO4 (H2O)5/natri ascorbate] trong hỗn hợp H2O/polyethylene glycol 400 với dung môi đã tạo ra các hợp chất triazoles 1,4-disubstituted tương ứng ở nhiệt độ phòng với thời gian phản ứng ngắn và hiệu suất cao. Các alpha-azido ketones tương ứng được chuẩn bị trực tiếp in situ từ nhiều styren thay thế khác nhau bằng cách sử dụng chất oxi hóa cerium ammonium nitrate và natri azide trong methanol bão hòa oxy.
