Khám Phá Định Tính Về Những Trải Nghiệm Và Thái Độ Liên Quan Đến Những Thách Thức Tâm Lý-Xã Hội, Tính Tự Bi Và Chánh Niệm Trong Một Quần Thể Người Lớn Bị Bệnh Xơ Nang

Nghiên cứu những thách thức tâm lý-xã hội hiện tại mà người lớn mắc bệnh Xơ Nang (CF) phải đối mặt, đồng thời khám phá những thái độ và trải nghiệm liên quan đến chánh niệm và tự bi. Chánh niệm và tự bi là những nguồn lực quan trọng hỗ trợ cho sức khỏe tâm lý và thể chất, tuy nhiên nghiên cứu về những khái niệm tâm lý tích cực này trong tài liệu CF còn hạn chế. Hai mươi người lớn ở Vương quốc Anh có chẩn đoán CF đã tham gia phỏng vấn bán cấu trúc. Sử dụng phương pháp phân tích chủ đề, bốn chủ đề được phát triển: (a) "Tôi không ngờ lại ở đây": Vượt qua tuổi thọ dự kiến của CF, (b) "Liệu tôi có đang tự đưa điều này đến với mình không?": Những phức tạp về tâm lý của CF, (c) "Tôi đã phải thực sự học cách tử tế với chính mình": Tầm quan trọng của lòng tự bi và việc thực hành lòng tự bi, (d) "Tôi nghĩ đây là một công cụ tuyệt vời": Lợi ích của việc thực hành chánh niệm. Nghiên cứu này cho thấy sự cần thiết mạnh mẽ trong việc tăng cường tích hợp các thực hành tâm lý dễ tiếp cận vào chăm sóc CF thường xuyên và tự chăm sóc cho người lớn mắc CF. Đặc biệt là những thực hành và can thiệp dựa trên các khái niệm chánh niệm và tự bi, có thể mang lại lợi ích sâu sắc cho sức khỏe và sự an lành của bệnh nhân.
