Môi trường karst, khác biệt so với các môi trường khác, cần có chỉ số xáo trộn riêng. Tài nguyên karst ngày càng bị xáo trộn bởi nhiều quá trình liên quan đến các yếu tố xã hội, vật lý và kinh tế.
