Kết quả chung hỗ trợ giả thuyết rằng thanh thiếu niên và người lớn đa chủng tộc đối mặt với tỷ lệ sử dụng chất kích thích cao hơn so với người châu Phi Mỹ và người châu Á/Bắc Thái Bình Dương, mặc dù mẫu kết quả này bị đảo ngược khi so sánh với người bản địa và người châu Âu Mỹ, và ít nhất là nhất quán so với người La-tinh Mỹ.
