The pH value was adjusted to about 3.5 by 6 M HCl. The above mixture was transferred into 25 ml Teflon reactor and heated at 140 °C for 6 days. After the autoclave was cooled to room temperature, black block crystals were isolated, and dried at room temperature to give a yield of 46% (based on W). Calcd for C40H38Ag4AsN8O43W12 (Mr = 4031.26) C, 11.91; H, 0.94;N, 2.78; As, 1.86; W, 54.72; Ag, 10.70. Found: C, 11.89; H, 0.93; N, 2.79; As,1.83; W, 54.69; Ag,10.68. IR (KBr pellet, cm−1): 3604 (br), 1742(m), 1556(m), 985(s), 873(s), 749(s), and 662 (s). The crystal data of 1 was collected on a Bruker SMART CCD diffractometer with Mo-Kα radiation (λ = 0.71073 Å) at 293 K. The structures were solved by the direct methods and refined by the full-matrix least-squares method on F2 with the SHELXTL crystallographic software package. Anisotropic thermal parameters were used to refine non-hydrogen atoms. Hydrogen atoms on C and N atoms of the organic ligands were included in their calculated positions.
