Tóm tắt

The Generalized Rayleigh-Gans (GRG) approach is used for the scattering cross section computation of leaves at low frequencies, while the Physical Optics (PO) approach is employed at high frequencies. In this paper, the magnitude of the scattering amplitude of the leaf is calculated using the two analytical methods (GRG PO) at different frequencies (i.e., L, C and X bands) and with different leaf shapes (circular and elliptical). In general, the difference between these models is of the order of several dB.
